20th january.. bee bee's 21st birthday.. =D =Dwe had barbeque!
spent so long trying to extinguish the flames. hahaha! and bee sure did enjoy herself pouring the water on the coals. hahaha!

my last nursery =( =(
our team was spilt into 2 'cos they spilt young toddlers and older toddlers into 2.. this was our first time serving in separate teams..

'cos it's a rare thing.. hahaha! =Dlalalala! and i had a good day yesterday with xuef at ichiban sushi! but we were so full after eating alittle.. but i love ichiban! good quality food.. =Dthen went to buy my textbook from the medical bookshop at bras pasar.. but they only had one.. $132 leh! heart very pain ah..then met up with bee bee to shop a little.. yay i love bee bee! hahaha! she's so crazy and funny. and super out of point. hahaha!then happened to meet her friends from adelaide too. nice people. hee.. =Dthen jiejie bought me a ring! so happy! can collect it tomorrow afternoon only.. will show you all soon!! i've been wanting a ring.. =Dlalala! =D

we went back to ac last friday.. =D it didn't feel particularly special or anything.. i guess it's 'cos we're just too comfortable with ac already.. hahaha! but i saw a cute, tall, handsome councillor!! hahahaha! tallteng, don't laugh at me.. hahahah! we bought stingray, calamari, and yong tau fu and shared the food 'cos we wanted to eat each item.. hahaha! and bought many bottles of ching chao!! hahaha!
then we visited the sports complex where i slipped on a stupid icecream splat.. =( thank God i didn't fall.. and we saw the graffitti at the void deck! can't believe the new music centre is up so fast! heard from cy that there are students from 83 different secondary schools in ac now.. madness right? i think last time maybe there were only 20 different sec schools? ac is changing changing! hahahah! but still can't wait to go back for funorama next year! =D
then some of the girls had to go back to nus for class.. and chai nart went to sentosa.. so the rest of us went to orchard for a movie.. watched One Last Dance.. i slept in the beginning.. hahaha! 'cos there wasn't much of a plot in the beginning.. as in, we didn't know what was going on.. it was just killings.. but towards the end, there was a twist.. quite a nice twist.. =D but the show in general was alright lah.. mer, i do not hate it!! hahahah
then we shopped around abit and in the end ate at crystal jade xiao long bao.. waited super long for a table lor! hahaaha
and we realised that we were all qualified drivers!!! hahahaa

then we met up the next day to go to hoot hoot hooters!
'cos mer wanted to try their famous buffalo wings.. we decided to try all the flavours! except for 1 'cos we could only choose max 4.. i only liked the samurai one.. the rest were SO HOT. hahahah! and there was one that was HOT and SOUR. oh man. hahahah! chris and tong were like sweating and sweating lah. hahahaha!

and monday was my last day at work.. so sudden 'cos it was suppose to be tomorrow.. but they cut my shifts 'cos they were overstaffed...
then my supervisor and boss came up to me and passed me a present!
it's a star-fish-like necklace from perlini's.. quite nice of them lah.. =D but those who wrote in the small card were those whom i'm not very close with.. hahaha! those that i'm closer to didn't even know that that was my last day.. i didn't even know it myself!

update! =D it's been 2 weeks.. my goodness.. hahaha! but i was waiting for chris to send me our new year's day pictures!! finally got them.. but don't know why cannot upload!! only managed to upload 1 miserable one!
so this was how i spent my new year...
church service was held at the indoor stadium.. but i didn't attend service 'cos i was serving at nursery.. the toddlers are too cute to be true. hahaha! and i played with lucas! cute little thing.. hahaha! =D
then after that.. oh.. jiejie and i went to sakae sushi at citilink (she INSISTED on going cityhall. why?? hahaha!).. then we shopped around abit i think..
oh!!! then we went to ben&jerry's to have icecream!!! courtesy of jotham's voucher.. hee! =D yummy icecream!! =D we had the large cup. but then jiejie wanted the waffle too so we ordered the waffles separately. hahahah! chunky monkey rocks! =D

then we shopped around some more.. and went home for dinner 'cos mummy wanted to have dinner at home. which was nothing much in the end. hahahah! i think she bought bbq-ed chicken from carrefour. =D
then i was just lazing around at home 'cos i heard that no one was at chai's house yet, only tong. he had a party at his house.. big party with his parents' friends.. all the oldies. hahaha! oops. =)
finally i met yishan at novena mrt at 9pm and we walked to his house. wow. they had a tentage set up for the party. and it felt like chinese new year 'cos of the red table cloth. hahaha! but there was a buffet spread. and $1000 worth of champagne. hahaha!
so it was just me, chai, shan, tong, and emmanuel (chai's pri school friend) there.. then we were just playing around in chai's room.. watching really funny videos that tong and cy and yishan showed us.. hahaha! DAUGHTERS. hahahah!
then soon nart and ah mah came too. then we were deciding how to countdown to the new year!! we didn't want to go squeeze with everyone at the crowded places, but we wanted to watch the fireworks. so we were thinking and thinking, where can we see fireworks without squeezing with the crowd. then i asked, tan tock seng hospital can anot? (chai's house is very near ttsh)
then chai said that can leh! he has the staff access card.. 'cos his dad is a doctor or something lah. so he said that maybe we can access the roof!! hahaha
so we all happy made our way there.. with chris, ys (who joined us at the roof) and kelvin (chai's best friend)...
we went to the 4th floor. happily taped the access card. and stepped into a garden-like floor.. it was like an open space with a small garden, and just a connecting floor from the offices to the wards. brought back memories 'cos i've been there before last time when i had attachment at ttsh during my jc days. and when i worked there for like a week or so. =D
then we realised that the wards block may block our view of the fireworks!!! 'cos it was very very tall. so we were finding all sorts of way to get to the highest floor possible.
we took the lift up and up.. trying to keep quiet 'cos it was like "authorised area" for the laboratories.. climbing flights and flights of deserted stairs.. and trying not to burst out laughing 'cos we were in disdelief that we were doing something so illegal but yet so exciting.. hahaha! each time we tried to open the doors to the rooftop, they were always locked! in the end.. we just wished everyone happy new year in the lift. hahahaha. what a way to countdown hor. hahaha..
then we realised that the fireworks will still be going on! so we rushed back to the garden floor again.. and chai said that he saw the reflection of the fireworks in the door! so we were desperately trying to figure out the direction of the fireworks. hahaha! we had to climb up this ladder.. which led to a platform of a huge dome-shaped roof from the many many offices below it. aiya, i don't know how to explain. hahaha!
but anyway, we had to climb that ladder, and then we could see some fireworks. then kelvin tried climbing the CLEANING MECHANISM for that dome-shaped roof.. and he had a good view! so we all followed. hahaha! and the whole cleaning mechanism was like shaking and shaking lah. with all 11 of us on it... hahahah! but we had a good view of the fireworks! though a little blocked by some tall buildings.

then we just hung out around there... and went back to chai's house to pop the champagne. it was yummy!!! =D very nice.. =D but nart spilled hers on my feet. hahahah!
then after we toasted to the new year, tong insisted that we say out our wishes for 2007. hahaha! he said it must be creative and original. so we all insisted that he start first. then in the end, he said, "i want to live my life to the fullest". *faint* hahahaha.. totally not original lor.
after that we just stayed in chai's room and closed the door 'cos chai's father's choir was singing and singing and singing on their new kbox karaoke system. hahaha! i heard an uncle singing, "what a grooooovvvvy kind of love..." hahahah! i burst out laughing lor. =D
so we just spent the next few hours looking at our old jc class photos and videos and laughing and laughing and laughing like nobody's business. hahaha! then chris kept putting the videos on replay. and it was just hilarious lah. hahahah! we're mad i tell you. hahahah
in the end we all went home at 4am only. hahahah! what a nice way to spend new year =D

on new year's day i was out with jiejie.. then we went to fish&co to have dinner. you know after you pay the bill for your meal.. then they will give you some Mint sweets? actually i didn't know about it until one day my colleague, sherry, was calling up the fish&co outlets to ask if they sell the whole packet of sweets. 'cos she says it's very nice and she wants to buy the whole packet.
so after we paid the bill they really gave us the mint sweets, then i asked the waiter if they sell the package of sweets. then he laughed and said no. then just as we were about to stand up and leave, he came back to our table, dumped some sweets on our table, and said, Happy New Year.
so cute and nice of him lah!!! hahaha! i bet he must be thinking that i really LOVEEEE the sweets. hahahaha!

mummy signed up for a spa package at True Yoga at taka.. so i got to go too! hahaha! the spa is super nice! very very spacious. look at the seat!!

then they served tea too while i was waiting:
i did a goat's milk lavender hydromassage bath.. didn't enjoy it very much though. don't know why. just didn't feel comfortable. hahaha!
then after that i had a hard massage from the therapist!! she was very very strong. hahahah! found out from her that she was a creative director for 10 years, until one day when she had stroke. blood clot and tumour in her brain. but due to chinese medicine, she managed to recover. but she didn't tell her doctor at SGH that it was 'cos she ate the chinese medicine. hahaha! 'cos she didn't want to damange his pride.
she was also like 70 over kg i think.. then now she has lost so so much weight. and i just admire her determination and her attitude towards life. she didn't give up when she was partially paralzed.. but just fought on.. amazing huh?
and plus she's so strong. she massage until i very very painful. hahahaha! i may go back for another massage before i left for australia. hee =D

my trainer at work, hsiao yen, treated me to lunch one day! hahaha! quite weird lah. 'cos i don't really know her. and just friendly small-talk. hahahaha! but in the end, lunch turned out to be alright. we managed to carry a conversation. except when she insisted of paying for lunch, then i said don't want lah. then there was dead silence. damn awkward. hahahaa!
anyway, it was my first time eating at bakerzinn!! =D
had aglio olio. it looks super plain 'cos i didn't order any toppings. hahaha! didn't want her to pay more. hahaha! but then... i ordered an ex drink.. hahaha! ice lychee tea! hahaha! like ice lemon tea just that it's lychee. it's quite nice leh! sweet. =D then they had 2 lychee inside. hahaha! it was like $6 lah. hahahaha! =D

The Life Of Jesus Is In You
John 10:10
"... I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. "
Jesus is completely God, but He was born completely human. He went through temptation after temptation and conquered every one of them. (Hebrews 4:15) And all that overcoming power is found in His life. And He put that life in you — the life of Christ is in you!
During Jesus’ ministry on earth, He conquered sickness, the winds and waves, the powers of darkness and death. It is His life that brings victory over the devil and all his works. And He put that life in you — the life of Christ is in you!
Finally, Jesus went to the cross. And that life in Him put an end to everything natural of the Adamic race — sickness, poverty, failures, pains, curses and death. All that was natural ceased to be in that life of His. But all that was supernatural remained in Him. And He put that life in you — the life of Christ is in you!
Then, Jesus rose from the dead. And in that life of His was added the power of resurrection. And He put that life in you — the life of Christ is in you!
After His resurrection, Jesus went back to heaven to His Father. Today, He is seated at the right hand of God, resting in His finished work, occupying a place of the highest authority and always interceding for us. And He put that life in you — the life of Christ is in you!
And because Jesus went back to the Father, the Holy Spirit came to indwell you (John 16:7), so that you will live life with His anointing in you and walk in His overcoming power.
All that Jesus is, God meant for you to be. All that He has, God meant for you to have. All the exciting things that you read in the Bible about Jesus, all the treasures of Him hidden in the Old Testament and the unsearchable riches in Him that you find in the New Testament, all of that life of His, is not out there somewhere. God has deposited all of it in you so that you can live the abundant life that Jesus came to give you!
